10 · Credits & pricing
One credit = one paper. That's the whole formula — however many fields your schema has, however many records a paper yields, processing one paper costs one credit.
Earning credits (free)

A new account can reach 200 free credits without paying anything; the free tier is advertised as 150 papers (signup + profile).

Searching, uploading, queueing, browsing, exporting, and sharing are always free.
When your balance drops below 10 credits you get a one-time low-credit email alert. If an action would exceed your balance, it simply doesn't run — you're never billed into the negative.

The pricing page includes a slider — set the number of papers in your review and it recommends a tier:
